An honest home for the true nature-lover in Mossel Bay

There is nothing pretentious or fancy about this house.

It does not have underfloor heating or solar power or automatic garage doors, nor does it have any fancy gadgets.

But it does have lots of holiday space with large rooms, It does have everything you need for unforgettable family holidays with South African traditions at its core.

It does have a real farm-style enormous kitchen with a large kitchen table for early morning coffee and late night dreamy chats.

Dana Bay is a well-established, yet tranquil township known for its abundance of protected fynbos species which in turn creates the perfect environment for various bird species to flourish and wildlife such as bush buck and steenbok to wander freely. The enthusiastic bird watcher can enjoy the opulence of more than 85 different bird species, including the African Oystercatcher and Cape Francolin.

The beaches (including not one, but two swimming beaches!) in Dana Bay with its flawless serenity and breathtaking sunsets sets the perfect scene for a morning or afternoon stroll and even a family picnic. Sightings of dolphins and the Southern Right Whales add more wonder to Dana Bay’s generous landscape.

Without taking away from the seemingly isolated and cosy nature of this area, Dana Bay is also central to innumerable facilities and recreational activities including restaurants, shopping centres, museums, hospitals, schools, popular walking trails and other main beaches located in and around the popular towns of Mossel Bay and George.
